Garry Kasparov Octopus knight | World Chess Championship

MDWIX TV

One of the most memorable moves in chess history was played by Garry Kasparov in the 16th game of the World Chess Championship 1985 against Anatoly Karpov. It was a move that stunned the chess world and earned Kasparov the nickname of "Octopus Knight". This topic is published by heart of a chess lover. I am starting from the Mikhail Tal era (world champion:1960,1961), the great soviet latvian chess player,Garry Kasparov,Bobby Fisher,Anatoly Karpov. There are lot of chess player, who are simply in heart of every chess player. As an Indian ,Sir Vishy is in our blood

The position was complex and tense, with both players having chances to win. Kasparov had sacrificed a pawn earlier in the game to gain some initiative, but Karpov had defended well and was ready to counterattack. On his 24th move, Kasparov faced a critical decision: he could either retreat his knight from d5 to e3, or he could play the daring and unexpected move 24...Nd3!, sacrificing another pawn and placing his knight deep into enemy territory.

Kasparov chose the latter option, and the move shocked Karpov and the spectators. The knight on d3 looked like an octopus, with its tentacles reaching out to various squares and creating threats and possibilities. Kasparov later explained that he had seen this move in his mind a few moves earlier, and that he had calculated some variations that convinced him that it was sound and strong.

The move also had a psychological impact on Karpov, who spent a lot of time trying to find a refutation, but could not. He eventually played 25.Bxd3, accepting the pawn sacrifice, but this only gave Kasparov more activity and pressure. Kasparov continued to play energetically and precisely, and after 42 moves, Karpov resigned. The game was a masterpiece of dynamic chess, and it gave Kasparov a crucial point in the match. He went on to win the match and become the youngest world champion ever at the age of 22.

FA Cup: Manchester United failed to register a single shot on target while Manchester City were at their clinical best with a 4-1 win over Port Vale.

Manchester United failed to break down a resilient Wolves defence as they were held to a goalless draw in the third round of the FA Cup at Molineux. The visitors had the better chances in a cagey affair, but could not find a way past John Ruddy, who made a superb save to deny Anthony Martial in the second half. Wolves also had their moments, with Pedro Neto hitting the post and Raul Jimenez forcing a fine stop from Dean Henderson, but neither side could produce the quality needed to win the game.

The result means that both teams will have to play a replay at Old Trafford, adding to their already congested fixture list. United will be hoping to avoid a repeat of last season, when they were knocked out by Wolves at the same stage of the competition. Wolves, meanwhile, will be aiming to reach the fourth round for the third consecutive year.

Both managers made several changes to their starting line-ups, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer resting some of his key players and Nuno Espirito Santo rotating his squad after a busy festive period. The changes affected the fluency and cohesion of both teams, as they struggled to create clear-cut opportunities in the first half. The best chance fell to Mason Greenwood, who fired over from close range after a clever flick by Juan Mata.

The second half was more lively, as both sides increased their intensity and urgency. Martial had a golden opportunity to put United ahead, but his low shot was brilliantly tipped around the post by Ruddy. Wolves responded with a quick counter-attack, which ended with Neto's curling effort hitting the woodwork. Jimenez then tested Henderson with a powerful strike from inside the box, but the United keeper was equal to it.

The final minutes saw both teams pushing for a winner, but neither could find the decisive touch. United had a penalty appeal turned down after Brandon Williams went down under a challenge from Leander Dendoncker, while Wolves saw a late goal ruled out for offside after Matt Doherty headed in from Neto's cross. The final whistle confirmed that the tie would go to a replay, leaving both managers with mixed feelings.

An Exclusive Video on Sania Mirza and Colin Fleming US Open 2012 mixed doubles quarterfinal

Hey tennis fans, I'm back with another blog post about one of my favorite tournaments, the US Open. Today I want to talk about a match that happened almost a decade ago, but still stands out in my memory as one of the most exciting and dramatic mixed doubles matches ever. I'm talking about the 2012 US Open quarterfinal between **Sania Mirza and Colin Fleming** and **Melanie Oudin and Jack Sock**.

Sania Mirza is one of the most successful and popular female tennis players from India, who has won six Grand Slam titles in her career, three in women's doubles and three in mixed doubles . Colin Fleming is a former British tennis player who specialized in doubles and reached a career-high ranking of No. 17 in the world. Together, they formed a formidable team that reached the semifinals of Wimbledon and the quarterfinals of the US Open in 2012.

Melanie Oudin and Jack Sock were the defending champions of the US Open mixed doubles title, having won it in 2011 as wildcards. They were both young and talented American players who had shown promise in singles as well. Oudin had reached the quarterfinals of the US Open in 2009, while Sock had won the boys' singles title in 2010.

The match was a thrilling encounter that went down to the wire. The first set was very close, with both teams holding their serves until 4-4. Then, Mirza and Fleming broke Oudin's serve to take a 5-4 lead and serve for the set. However, Oudin and Sock fought back and broke Fleming's serve to level the score at 5-5. The set went to a tiebreak, which was also very tight. Mirza and Fleming had two set points at 6-4, but Oudin and Sock saved them both and won four points in a row to take the tiebreak 8-6.

The second set was more one-sided, as Mirza and Fleming raised their level and dominated their opponents. They broke Oudin's serve twice and Fleming's serve once to take the set 6-1 and force a deciding match tiebreak.

The match tiebreak was a roller-coaster ride that had everything: drama, suspense, emotion, and amazing shots. Mirza and Fleming took an early lead of 4-1, but Oudin and Sock came back to make it 4-4. Then, Mirza and Fleming went ahead again by 8-5, but Oudin and Sock refused to give up and leveled the score at 8-8. The next four points were split evenly, making it 10-10. Finally, Mirza and Fleming won two points in a row to seal the victory by 12-10.

The match lasted for an hour and 35 minutes, and was one of the best displays of mixed doubles tennis I have ever seen. Both teams played with passion, skill, and sportsmanship, and deserved a huge applause from the crowd. Mirza and Fleming went on to lose in the semifinals to Květa Peschke and Marcin Matkowski, who eventually lost to Ekaterina Makarova and Bruno Soares in the final.

FA Cup: Manchester United failed to register a single shot on target while Manchester City were at their clinical best with a 4-1 win over Port Vale.

Hey, football fans! Did you catch the FA Cup third round match between Manchester United and Wolves yesterday? If you did, you might have been disappointed by the lack of goals and excitement. It was a pretty dull affair, with both teams struggling to create clear chances and showing little urgency or creativity. The best opportunity fell to Wolves' Raul Jimenez in the second half, but he couldn't beat Sergio Romero from close range. United had a late penalty appeal turned down by VAR, but it would have been harsh on the hosts who defended well throughout. The final whistle blew with the scoreline at 0-0, meaning the two sides will have to do it all over again in a replay at Old Trafford.

So, what went wrong for United? Well, they were missing some key players like Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay and Marcus Rashford, who only came on as a substitute. They also looked tired and uninspired after a busy festive period that saw them play four games in 10 days. Their manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, admitted that they lacked quality and tempo in their play, and that they need to improve if they want to progress in the competition. He also said that he hopes to have some reinforcements in the January transfer window, as the squad is thin and stretched.

Wolves, on the other hand, can be proud of their performance. They have been one of the most consistent and exciting teams in the Premier League this season, and they showed that they can match United on any given day. They were well-organized, disciplined and energetic, and they had some bright moments going forward with Adama Traore and Pedro Neto. Their manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, praised their attitude and effort, and said that they will go to Old Trafford with confidence and ambition.

The replay date has not been confirmed yet, but it will likely take place in the week commencing January 13th. It will be another tough test for both teams, who have a busy schedule ahead of them. United will face Norwich City and Liverpool in the league, while Wolves will take on Newcastle United and Southampton. Both teams will also resume their European campaigns later this month, with United facing Club Brugge in the Europa League and Wolves meeting Espanyol.

Who do you think will win the replay and advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup? Do you think United need to sign some new players this month? Do you think Wolves can challenge for a top-four finish this season? Let me know your thoughts in the comments section below. Thanks for reading!
Spluttering Manchester United were forced to settle for a dour 0-0 draw at Wolves in the FA Cup third round, while holders Manchester City started their bid to retain the trophy with a 4-1 victory against Port Vale on Saturday. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's troubled side didn't manage a single shot on target in a domestic game for the first time in five years. Easily beaten by Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday, United once again struggled to find any momentum and now face an unwanted replay at Old Trafford later in January.

Defending the latest in a growing list of underwhelming displays, Solskjaer said: "I'm happier to be in the replay than going out. It's a fair result that we are both still in the cup.

"It's a tough place to come. They had chances. Sergio Romero made some great saves. He's putting pressure on David de Gea and that's what we want. We want the best players in the world here."

Solskjaer made seven changes at Molineux with the League Cup semi-final first leg against Manchester City looming on Tuesday.

Knocked out by Wolves in the FA Cup quarter-finals last season, disjointed United nearly fell behind when Matt Doherty's volley was superbly turned away by Romero.

Brandon Williams had a strong penalty appeal rejected by VAR after the United left-back tumbled following a challenge with Leander Dendoncker.

United substitute Marcus Rashford hit the bar with his first touch, but Wolves nearly won it in the closing moments as Raul Jimenez smashed against a shot against the post, leaving Solskjaer's men with just two wins from their last five matches.

At the Etihad Stadium, City boss Pep Guardiola made seven changes, but Oleksandr Zinchenko got the scoring started against fourth-tier Vale after 20 minutes.

Port Vale striker Tom Pope had memorably mocked John Stones last year, claiming he would love to play against him after being underwhelmed by the City defender's performance during an England match.

And with Stones returning for City after a month out with a hamstring injury, the 34-year-old Pope backed up his social media taunts by equalising with a glancing header in the 35th minute.

Sergio Aguero restored order when he fired City back in front with his 15th goal of the season three minutes before half-time.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis sealed the win from Stones' flick in the 58th minute and Phil Foden got the fourth in the 76th minute.

"We are in the next round after an incredible amount of games. We played seriously. First half we struggled a bit but second half was better," Guardiola said.

Villa, Brighton crash out

Aston Villa and Brighton suffered embarrassing exits as the Premier League clubs paid the price for making a raft of team changes.

Villa are languishing just above the relegation zone after a difficult first season back in the top-flight and boss Dean Smith prioritised that survival battle with nine changes in the 2-1 loss at second tier Fulham.

Anthony Knockaert gave Fulham the lead with a 54th minute curler as the former Brighton forward grabbed his first goal since September.

Anwar El Ghazi equalised for Villa in the 63rd minute, but the understudies couldn't hold on as Harry Arter won it with a 30-yard thunderbolt with 16 minutes left.

"The game was won by two wonder-goals," Smith said. "I don't like losing in any competition, but everyone could see this wasn't top of our priority list, because we have had injuries to three key players."

Brighton endured the same fate as Villa as Albion boss Graham Potter made seven changes from their New Year's Day draw against Chelsea and second tier Sheffield Wednesday took advantage with a 1-0 win at the Amex Stadium.

Adam Reach blasted Wednesday into the fourth round with a deflected long-range strike in the 65th minute.

Watford blew a three-goal lead in a dramatic 3-3 draw against third-tier strugglers Tranmere, while Newcastle were held to a 1-1 draw by League One minnows Rochdale.

The pick of Sunday's ties sees Liverpool face Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield, while Arsenal host Leeds on Monday.

How to Start your warm up session before exercise.

Hey, are you looking for a fun and effective way to reduce belly fat fast? If so, you might want to try zumba class! Zumba is a dance-based fitness program that combines Latin and international music with aerobic and anaerobic movements. It's a great way to burn calories, tone muscles, and improve your cardiovascular health. Plus, it's super fun and easy to follow!

In this blog post, I'm going to share with you some tips on how to get the most out of your zumba class and see results in just seven days. Ready to shake it off? Let's go!

Tip #1: Choose the right zumba class for your level. Zumba classes come in different styles and intensities, so make sure you pick one that suits your fitness level and goals. For example, if you're a beginner or have limited mobility, you might want to start with zumba gold, which is a low-impact and easy-to-follow version of zumba. If you're more advanced or want a higher challenge, you might want to try zumba toning, which uses light weights to add resistance and sculpt your muscles.

Tip #2: Wear comfortable and breathable clothing. Zumba is a sweaty and energetic workout, so you want to wear clothes that allow you to move freely and keep you cool. Avoid wearing anything too tight or restrictive, such as jeans or belts. Instead, opt for loose-fitting or stretchy fabrics, such as cotton or spandex. You can also layer your clothing, such as wearing a tank top over a sports bra, so you can adjust your temperature as needed.

Tip #3: Wear supportive and flexible shoes. Zumba involves a lot of footwork and lateral movements, so you need shoes that can support your ankles and cushion your feet. Avoid wearing running shoes or sneakers that have too much traction or grip, as they can cause injuries or limit your range of motion. Instead, look for shoes that have a smooth sole and a pivot point, such as dance sneakers or cross-trainers.

Tip #4: Drink plenty of water before, during, and after your zumba class. Zumba is a high-intensity workout that can dehydrate you quickly, so make sure you drink enough water to replenish your fluids and electrolytes. Aim for at least 8 ounces of water before your class, and sip on water throughout the session. You can also drink sports drinks or coconut water to boost your hydration and energy levels. After your class, drink another 8 ounces of water or more, depending on how thirsty you are.

Tip #5: Follow the instructor and have fun! Zumba is not about being perfect or doing every move exactly right. It's about having fun and enjoying the music and the atmosphere. Don't worry if you can't keep up with the instructor or the other participants at first. Just follow their cues and do your best. You'll get better with practice and time. The most important thing is to smile, laugh, and have a blast!
