Athira Purushothaman molested by Rapido in Bengaluru.

This is an alarming situation for taking ride in hired bike or auto single women or girl. This is an awful incident happened in the Bangaluru on 21st of July, 2023. Athira Purushothaman attend the the Manipur violence protest at Town hall in Bangalore city, India. . She booked Rapido auto to return home. But she was rejected by multiple driver, she at least decide to take a hire bike. One driver reached to her booking but it was different bike than that of the Rapido bike. She asked about his bike then he informed the the assigned bike is under maintenance hence he attend the service call. Miss Athira took the ride but she felt uneasy of the awkward behaviour of the driver. She further wrote in her twitter handle that they reached to very desolated place where there was no other vehicle or a single man other than both of them. She was scarred but did not tell anything for her safety. She asked to drop her 200 meter away from her destination to hide her home address.
She again told that after completed the ride the driver started to call and messaged her in WhatsApp. After the bizarre became viral in the social media, the Deputy commissioner of police, south division, Bengaluru Police informed twitter that the culprit already was already arrested.
