Garry Kasparov Octopus knight | World Chess Championship

MDWIX TV

One of the most memorable moves in chess history was played by Garry Kasparov in the 16th game of the World Chess Championship 1985 against Anatoly Karpov. It was a move that stunned the chess world and earned Kasparov the nickname of "Octopus Knight". This topic is published by heart of a chess lover. I am starting from the Mikhail Tal era (world champion:1960,1961), the great soviet latvian chess player,Garry Kasparov,Bobby Fisher,Anatoly Karpov. There are lot of chess player, who are simply in heart of every chess player. As an Indian ,Sir Vishy is in our blood

The position was complex and tense, with both players having chances to win. Kasparov had sacrificed a pawn earlier in the game to gain some initiative, but Karpov had defended well and was ready to counterattack. On his 24th move, Kasparov faced a critical decision: he could either retreat his knight from d5 to e3, or he could play the daring and unexpected move 24...Nd3!, sacrificing another pawn and placing his knight deep into enemy territory.

Kasparov chose the latter option, and the move shocked Karpov and the spectators. The knight on d3 looked like an octopus, with its tentacles reaching out to various squares and creating threats and possibilities. Kasparov later explained that he had seen this move in his mind a few moves earlier, and that he had calculated some variations that convinced him that it was sound and strong.

The move also had a psychological impact on Karpov, who spent a lot of time trying to find a refutation, but could not. He eventually played 25.Bxd3, accepting the pawn sacrifice, but this only gave Kasparov more activity and pressure. Kasparov continued to play energetically and precisely, and after 42 moves, Karpov resigned. The game was a masterpiece of dynamic chess, and it gave Kasparov a crucial point in the match. He went on to win the match and become the youngest world champion ever at the age of 22.

FA Cup: Manchester United failed to register a single shot on target while Manchester City were at their clinical best with a 4-1 win over Port Vale.

Manchester United failed to break down a resilient Wolves defence as they were held to a goalless draw in the third round of the FA Cup at Molineux. The visitors had the better chances in a cagey affair, but could not find a way past John Ruddy, who made a superb save to deny Anthony Martial in the second half. Wolves also had their moments, with Pedro Neto hitting the post and Raul Jimenez forcing a fine stop from Dean Henderson, but neither side could produce the quality needed to win the game.

The result means that both teams will have to play a replay at Old Trafford, adding to their already congested fixture list. United will be hoping to avoid a repeat of last season, when they were knocked out by Wolves at the same stage of the competition. Wolves, meanwhile, will be aiming to reach the fourth round for the third consecutive year.

Both managers made several changes to their starting line-ups, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer resting some of his key players and Nuno Espirito Santo rotating his squad after a busy festive period. The changes affected the fluency and cohesion of both teams, as they struggled to create clear-cut opportunities in the first half. The best chance fell to Mason Greenwood, who fired over from close range after a clever flick by Juan Mata.

The second half was more lively, as both sides increased their intensity and urgency. Martial had a golden opportunity to put United ahead, but his low shot was brilliantly tipped around the post by Ruddy. Wolves responded with a quick counter-attack, which ended with Neto's curling effort hitting the woodwork. Jimenez then tested Henderson with a powerful strike from inside the box, but the United keeper was equal to it.

The final minutes saw both teams pushing for a winner, but neither could find the decisive touch. United had a penalty appeal turned down after Brandon Williams went down under a challenge from Leander Dendoncker, while Wolves saw a late goal ruled out for offside after Matt Doherty headed in from Neto's cross. The final whistle confirmed that the tie would go to a replay, leaving both managers with mixed feelings.

The menopause symptoms - such as hot flushes, night sweats and low mood

Hey, ladies! Are you feeling hot and bothered lately? Do you have mood swings, insomnia, or irregular periods? If so, you might be going through menopause. But don't worry, it's not the end of the world. It's just a natural transition that every woman experiences at some point in her life.

Menopause is when your ovaries stop producing estrogen and progesterone, the hormones that regulate your menstrual cycle. This usually happens between the ages of 45 and 55, but it can vary from person to person. Some women may have early or late menopause due to genetics, medical conditions, or treatments.

The signs and symptoms of menopause can vary too. Some common ones are:

- Hot flashes: sudden feelings of heat that spread over your face, neck, and chest. They can last from a few seconds to several minutes and make you sweat, blush, or feel dizzy.

- Night sweats: similar to hot flashes, but they happen at night and can disrupt your sleep.

- Vaginal dryness: less moisture in your vagina can make sex uncomfortable or painful. It can also increase the risk of infections or irritation.

- Mood changes: you may feel more irritable, anxious, depressed, or emotional than usual. You may also have trouble concentrating or remembering things.

- Weight gain: your metabolism may slow down and make it harder to lose weight. You may also notice changes in your body shape, such as more fat around your waist or hips.

- Osteoporosis: lower levels of estrogen can weaken your bones and make them more prone to fractures.

These symptoms can be mild or severe, and they may last for months or years. They can also affect your quality of life and your relationships with others. That's why it's important to talk to your doctor if you think you're going through menopause. They can help you diagnose it and offer you treatments or lifestyle changes that can ease your discomfort.

Some possible treatments are:

- Hormone replacement therapy (HRT): taking pills, patches, gels, or injections that contain estrogen and/or progesterone. This can help balance your hormones and reduce your symptoms. However, HRT also has some risks and side effects, such as increased risk of breast cancer, blood clots, or stroke. You should discuss the pros and cons with your doctor before starting HRT.

- Non-hormonal medications: taking drugs that can help with specific symptoms, such as antidepressants for mood swings, sleeping pills for insomnia, or lubricants for vaginal dryness.

- Alternative therapies: trying natural remedies or supplements that may have some benefits for menopause, such as soy, black cohosh, red clover, or acupuncture. However, these are not regulated by the FDA and their safety and effectiveness are not proven. You should consult your doctor before using any alternative therapies.

- Lifestyle changes: making some adjustments to your diet, exercise, stress management, and habits that can improve your overall health and well-being. For example, eating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and calcium-rich foods; avoiding caffeine, alcohol, spicy foods, and smoking; exercising regularly; practicing relaxation techniques; and getting enough sleep.

Menopause is not a disease or a curse. It's a normal part of aging that every woman goes through. It doesn't mean you're old or less feminine. It means you're entering a new phase of life that can be just as fulfilling and rewarding as any other. So don't let menopause get you down. Embrace it with confidence and grace!

Well, you're in luck, because I'm going to show you how to make a mud oven that can power up your device using nothing but some dirt, water, and a metal pot. Sounds crazy, right? But it actually works, and it's not that hard to do. Here's how.

First, you need to find a spot where the soil is dry and sandy. You don't want any grass or rocks in it. Then, dig a hole about the size of a basketball. You can use your hands or a shovel, whatever you have. Next, fill the hole with water until it's about halfway full. Then, start mixing the water and the soil with your hands until you get a thick and sticky mud. You might need to add more water or soil to get the right consistency.

Now, you need to shape the mud into a dome over the hole. You can use your hands or a spatula to smooth it out. Make sure there are no cracks or holes in the dome. You want it to be as solid as possible. The dome should be about 10 inches high and 15 inches wide. Leave a small opening at the top of the dome for the steam to escape.

Next, you need to find a metal pot with a lid that fits inside the dome. You can use any kind of pot, as long as it's not too big or too small. You also need some wires and a USB cable that you don't mind getting dirty. Cut off one end of the USB cable and strip the wires. Then, attach one wire to the inside of the pot lid and another wire to the bottom of the pot. Make sure they don't touch each other. Tape them securely with duct tape or electrical tape.

Now, you need to put some water in the pot and place it inside the dome. Make sure the lid is on and the wires are sticking out of the opening. Then, cover the opening with some mud to seal it. You're almost done!

The last step is to light a fire under the dome. You can use any kind of fuel, like wood, charcoal, or paper. Just make sure it's dry and flammable. You want to create a lot of heat and steam inside the dome. The steam will heat up the pot and create electricity through the wires. You can then plug your phone into the other end of the USB cable and watch it charge!

It might take some time for the oven to heat up and generate enough power, so be patient. You can check on your phone every few minutes to see how much battery it has. Depending on how hot your oven is and how low your phone is, it might take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to fully charge your phone.

And that's it! You've just made a mud oven that can charge your phone without electricity! How cool is that? You can use this trick anytime you're camping, hiking, or just in a pinch. Just remember to be careful with fire and water, and don't leave your phone unattended in the oven.

How to Wear A SARI and Enjoy it| India Fashion

Hi there, welcome to my blog! Today I'm going to share with you some tips on how to wear a sari and enjoy it. A sari is a traditional garment worn by many women in South Asia, especially in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. It consists of a long piece of fabric that is draped around the body in various ways, depending on the region, culture and occasion. A sari can be very elegant, colorful and versatile, but it can also be tricky to put on and manage. So here are some of my personal advice on how to rock a sari with confidence and style.

First of all, you need to choose the right sari for you. There are many types of saris, made from different materials, such as cotton, silk, chiffon, georgette, crepe, etc. Some are plain, some have prints, embroidery, sequins or beads. Some are light and airy, some are heavy and stiff. The choice depends on your preference, budget and the occasion you're wearing it for. For example, if you're going to a wedding or a formal event, you might want to opt for a silk or chiffon sari with some embellishments. If you're going for a casual or everyday look, you might prefer a cotton or georgette sari with a simple design.

Secondly, you need to have the right accessories to go with your sari. These include a blouse (also called choli), a petticoat (also called lehenga), a pair of shoes and some jewelry. The blouse is a fitted top that covers your upper body and usually matches the color or the border of the sari. The petticoat is a skirt that goes under the sari and helps to hold it in place. It should be comfortable and not too tight or too loose. The shoes should be comfortable and easy to walk in, as you might have to adjust your sari from time to time. The jewelry should complement your sari and your personality. You can wear earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings or anything else that suits your style.

Thirdly, you need to know how to drape your sari properly. There are many ways to drape a sari, but the most common one is called the nivi style. Here are the basic steps:

- Start by tucking one end of the sari into your petticoat at your waist on the right side.

- Wrap the sari around your waist once from right to left.

- Make sure the lower edge of the sari is at the same level as your ankles.

- Take the other end of the sari (called the pallu) and bring it over your left shoulder from behind.

- Adjust the pallu so that it hangs down to your knees or lower.

- Make some pleats in the pallu and secure them with a safety pin or a brooch on your shoulder.

- Make some more pleats in the front part of the sari and tuck them into your petticoat at your waist on the left side.

- Adjust the pleats so that they are neat and even.

- Voila! You have successfully draped your sari!

Lastly, you need to enjoy wearing your sari and have fun with it. A sari is not just a piece of cloth, it's a symbol of culture, heritage and beauty. It can make you feel graceful, feminine and confident. It can also express your mood, personality and creativity. You can experiment with different colors, patterns and styles of saris and find the ones that suit you best. You can also accessorize your sari with different blouses, shoes and jewelry and create different looks for different occasions. The possibilities are endless!

 MDWIX| Recycling
fashion: The town turning waste into clothes- BBC News| MDWIX TV & Times|
Fashion

Hey, fashion lovers! Have you ever wondered what happens to all the clothes that end up in landfills? Well, I have some good news for you. There's a town in India that is turning waste into clothes, and it's amazing!

The town is called Panipat, and it's known as the "global capital of recycling". It's home to hundreds of factories that process old clothes, blankets, and other textiles into new products. They use a technique called "shoddy", which involves shredding the fabrics and spinning them into yarn. The yarn is then used to make new clothes, carpets, mattresses, and more.

The shoddy industry has been around for decades, but it's become more popular in recent years as the demand for cheap and sustainable fashion has grown. According to BBC News, Panipat produces about 100,000 tonnes of shoddy yarn every year, which is enough to make 90 million sweaters. That's a lot of sweaters

But why is this so important? Well, for one thing, it helps reduce the environmental impact of the fashion industry, which is one of the biggest polluters in the world. By recycling old clothes, Panipat saves water, energy, and greenhouse gas emissions that would otherwise be used to produce new fabrics. It also reduces the amount of waste that ends up in landfills or oceans, where it can harm wildlife and ecosystems.

Another benefit of the shoddy industry is that it provides employment and income for thousands of people in Panipat and beyond. Many of the workers are women and migrants who have few other opportunities. They earn a decent wage and learn valuable skills that can help them improve their lives. Some of them even start their own businesses or become exporters.

Of course, the shoddy industry is not perfect. There are some challenges and drawbacks that need to be addressed. For example, some of the fabrics that are recycled are contaminated with chemicals or dyes that can affect the quality and safety of the products. There are also issues with labor rights, health hazards, and waste management. The industry needs more regulation and oversight to ensure that it meets ethical and environmental standards.

But overall, I think the shoddy industry is a great example of how recycling can be fashionable and profitable. It shows that we don't have to sacrifice style or comfort for sustainability. We can have both! And we can support a community that is making a positive difference in the world.

So next time you're shopping for clothes, why not look for something made from recycled materials? You might be surprised by how good it looks and feels. And you'll be doing your part to help the planet and its people.

That's all for today, folks. Thanks for reading my blog post. If you liked it, please share it with your friends and leave a comment below. And don't forget to subscribe to my newsletter for more updates on recycling fashion. See you next time!

Living art: Meet Harajuku's ethereal fashion icon

Hey, what's up? If you're into fashion, you've probably heard of Harajuku, the district in Tokyo that's famous for its colorful and eclectic street style. But have you ever wondered who are the people behind the outfits? Well, today I'm going to introduce you to one of them: Yohji, a living art piece who has been turning heads with his ethereal and surreal looks.

Yohji is not your typical fashionista. He doesn't follow trends or brands. He creates his own style from scratch, using materials like feathers, flowers, lace, and even plastic bags. He says he wants to express his inner world through his clothes, and he doesn't care about what others think of him. He calls himself a "living art" because he believes that fashion is a form of art that can change the world.

Yohji's inspiration comes from many sources, but especially from nature and fantasy. He loves to mix elements from different cultures and eras, creating a unique and whimsical aesthetic. He says he feels like he belongs to another dimension, and he wants to share his vision with others. He often poses for photos in Harajuku, where he attracts a lot of attention from tourists and locals alike. Some people admire him, some people are curious, and some people are confused. But Yohji doesn't mind. He says he enjoys interacting with people and making them smile.

Yohji's fashion journey started when he was a teenager. He was bored with the conventional clothes he had to wear at school and at home, and he wanted to express his individuality. He started experimenting with different fabrics and accessories, and soon he discovered Harajuku. There, he found a community of like-minded people who supported his creativity and encouraged him to be himself. He also met some of his idols, like Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Sebastian Masuda, who are famous for their kawaii and pop art style.

Yohji says that fashion is not only a hobby for him, but also a way of life. He spends hours every day planning and making his outfits, and he never wears the same thing twice. He says he wants to challenge himself and surprise people with his creations. He also hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams and express themselves freely. He says that fashion is a powerful tool that can make people happy and confident.

Yohji is not only a living art, but also a living legend in Harajuku. He has been featured in many magazines and websites, both in Japan and abroad. He has also collaborated with some famous brands and artists, like Moschino and Lady Gaga. He says he is grateful for all the opportunities he has had, but he also wants to stay true to himself and his vision. He says he doesn't want to become famous or rich, but he wants to make a difference in the world with his art.
